dc.description.abstract | In an attempt to further the research regarding the real world of working as an applied sport psychologist, this study offers the experiences of some of the world's best consultants working with team sports. We thoroughly discuss the role of the sport psychologist in a team context and the professional development to get such a position before the eight participants’ best advices to neophyte consultants are offered. Finally, we present what the practitioners consider to be critical issues for applied work and give directions for future research. It is our hope that the findings may be of value to experiences practitioners, as well as those going into profession for the first time. | nb_NO |
