dc.description.abstract | Background: Being physically active is associated with improved physical fitness, health and psychological well being in persons with spinal cord injury (SCI). Even so, the level of physical activity is still low in this population. There is a limited amount of research investigating the levels of physical activity and how physical activity relates to aspects of health among persons with motor complete spinal cord injury in Norway. Aim: The purpose of this study was to get an overview of the level of physical activity among individuals with motor complete SCI in Norway and examine the correlation between the amount of physical activity performed and the levels of stress experienced.
