dc.description.abstract | The use of Sport-in-Development (SiD) programs over the last decades has seen an incredible growth in both number of organizations and publicity around the globe, but has lately received critique for its poor monitoring and evaluation (M & E) and lack of robust findings on its efficiency. This master thesis therefore based its work on the life skills development M & E system from the international SiD organization Kicking Aids Out (KAO, 2009; 2010a), investigating the theorized associations between coaching climate, basic psychological need satisfaction and behavioral intentions using SDT (Deci & Ryan, 2000) and the new conceptual Model of Life Skills Development (Hodge, Danish, & Martin, 2012), to see if we could improve some of the life skills development strategies. | no_NO |
